ALC Just For Women Golf Tournament
On September 13, 2005 ALC will hold the second ALC Just For Women Golf Tournament at Green Pond County Club in Bethlehem.PA. Tournament proceeds benefit ALC's programs. It will be played in a four-woman scramble format with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. ALC is still seeking golfers and sponsors. Those interested in playing in,volunteering to help with the tournament or sponsoring it should contact Linda V. Storybook Breakfast
Each spring, ALC holds its Storybook Breakfast to encourage families to read together and to promote awareness of the agency's services. The idea is for local children to "bring" their parents to a breakfast featuring live appearances of their favorite storybook characters. The morning also includes crafts, stories read by local celebrities and an educational station, The next Storybook Breakfast will be held March 18, 2006 at the Hotel Bethlehem, Bethlehem, PA.
